This video of a Ford Kuga exploding close to Cape Town have people scratching their heads as to why. The footage was recorded by a passerby who just so happened to capture the exact moment the explosion occurred. The footage has been uploaded online and shows that there maybe a problem with the Kugas. Thousands of views already. This video is a must-see.

Possibly the strangest video of the whole year, Pen Pineapple Apple Pen comes straight from a comedian called Kosaka Daimaou who is from Japan. Noone is quite sure why it is so popular but with 182 million views, he has got something right.

With Donald Trump being named as Time’s person of the year, as the person who had the most impact on the world, it comes as no surprise that he makes an appearance in one of the year’s most viral videos. In it TV presenter John Oliver discusses Trump running for the 2016 Presidential Election and just what it means. The video, unsurprisingly, racked up quite a number of arguments in the comments as is common with Youtube.

Chewbacca Mom is a video of a mother named Candace Payne who is filmed wearing a Chewbacca mask in her car while she speaks to the camera. Originally posted to Facebook, it become one of the site’s most popular videos. The video became an instant success and Payne was asked to appear on multiple talk shows and even visit the Facebook headquarters.

James Corden and Adele do Carpool Karaoke
James Corden’s Carpool karaokes have becoming more and more popular but it was onw with Adele in 2016 that really made it go viral. While back home in London, Corden picks up Adele and they go for a drive around the city singing some of her songs and sAdele also raps Nicki Minja’s “Monster.”

Water bottle flipping has become all the rage recently and the guys over at the Youtube channel, Dude Perfect have got it down to an absolute art form. In the video which lasts 8 minutes, they are seen flipping water bottles in a variety of situations including from moving cars, into cup holders and much, much more. Who knows how much practise it took them or even if they did each one first time, but anyway, they have pulled off some remarkable throws here. The video has racked up an impressive 46 million views. Quite amazing.
